(June 12, 2023) More than 80 Milwaukee-area high school graduates are headed to college with help from Greater Milwaukee Urban League and its’ generous sponsors. Students are being awarded $1,000 scholarships and/or brand new laptops as they head off to college. Sixty students are receiving $1,000 scholarships. Forty-three laptops will also be presented.
The GMUL Scholarship and Laptop Award Event is Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 6 – 8:30pm at The Peck Welcome Center at the Milwaukee County Zoo.
