Project Ready: Mentor
Project Ready: Mentor is a National Urban League program to help young people gain the strong footing needed for success now, and later in life.
The program helps students succeed academically and grow socially through the development of essential life skills and effective work habits. Small groups of students are paired with an adult mentor and meet regularly to build relationships and engage in activities and field experiences.
One key partner is the Kohler Company, which is generously sponsoring a three-year initiative to reach young people with college, career, and life readiness skills. Career training and upskilling is offered for young adults, along with digital training for all participants.
High school students can earn an internship at Kohler and the company also offers a college scholarship for graduating seniors.
