Technology Assistance Center

Greater Milwaukee Urban League has big dreams for how closing the digital divide will open doors of opportunity for Milwaukee’s African-American community.

It starts with our current Technology Assistance Center. The Center offers group and individual assistance with online employment applications, resumes, and cover letters. It also provides computer access that assists with job searches, career assessment training, and testing.

Our goal is to expand our current facility and to build the Technology & Industry Center. This state-of-the-art facility will provide space for employers to do on-site training and for job seekers to take advanced classes to improve their skills and employability. We will concentrate on developing partnerships with employers in five high-demand areas: manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, technology, and construction/trades.
