There are two necessities for students headed to college – books and a laptop.
Thanks to the GMUL Laptop & Scholarship Awards program students will have a chance to head off to college with the latest technology needed for success and a scholarship to help purchase books.
Students apply in one of three categories: Academic Achievement, Community Service Leadership, or Character/Scholastic Turnaround. In addition to the application, students also submit transcripts, two letters of recommendation, and an essay.
The $1,000 scholarships are generously funded by Kohler and Greater Milwaukee Urban League. Laptops are sponsored by Enterprise, Johnson Controls, the NBA Foundation, and Target
