Driver’s License Permit Class

The GMUL Driver’s License Permit Class has helped dozens of people successfully earned their driver’s license permits, the first step to earning a driver’s license! A drivers license can be a critical tool to accessing employment because 40 percent of jobs in the metropolitan area are located outside of Milwaukee and more convenient to access to public transportation.

Adults 18 and older can participate in the class. Former Wisconsin Department of Transportation employees are the instructors, and their expert advice guides students as they learn the rules of the road. For qualifying applicants, behind-the-wheel instruction is also available.
